While upgrading WordPress website or blog to WordPress 3.0.1 from a earlier version it says “You are not allowed to call this page directly.”

I have noticed so many people facing this issue. Here is the FIX or solution for this issue

Solution to WordPress Upgrading issue

Please try Deactivating your NEXT-GEN Gallery and related plugins of Next Gen Gallery. And then try upgrading your website running on WordPress. I am sure it should work now. Once it is done with upgrading you can activate the NextGen Plugins back.
